Yes, here ‘papal’ is used as a noun.
Happy you like it
I might as well ask directly:
I’m genuinely playing with the idea of making Phillips an RO (the MC is only a bit older than him)
Yay or Nay?

I say make Philips an RO. I appreciated the dynamic of him and the MC whispering together and sharing knowing looks during the meeting (although I had my empress roll her eyes at the end because she 's turning out to be a rather forthright leader).
Personally, I don’t think that him being a little younger than her as a problem or an issue. I mean, when it’s the other way around people are not surprised, so why would it be weird in this way? So, go and write it as a RO if you think that’s good for your story.
Uploaded a quick update:
Some typo fixes, elaborated on what Phillips thinks Lechera is doing, and brought the story up to the point where you can enter you name (and nickname).
No check on the name yet (whether to double check if you spelled it right or if you share a name with an npc), that’ll come with the next update.
Quick thing:
I added SoR (and Beggar’s Luck, set in the same universe: Sildrys) to my patreon-clone tipeee . If you have some coins to spare and would like to support me, click there.
now back to writing
Writing a lot atm.
The original story had switching PoVs, so it can get a bit tricky not to have things MURDER! get too passive for the mc to learn about.
Next update will also add a Dramatis Personae on its own page.
I like all the choice names – while most of them sound pretty regal, I think I’m going to go with Jamie.
You might want to mention that Thornburn’s the absent council member or even just his chair being empty again when Phillips brings him up since his name and absence is only noted briefly in a paragraph with other important information.
Also, will there be a choice where we think back to why we agreed to take up the crown?
Looking forward to speaking more with Josephine.
While I’m busy writing, I thought I might as well introduce the Gods to you:

Malevhorn: The Lord of The Dreaded. God of magic and death
Easte: The Soul of the Forest. Goddess of Nature and raw magic
Ehaar: The Shadow of War. God of War
Heleia: The Beacon of Souls. Goddess of Twilight, Guide of the Deceased.
An: The Moon in the Water. Goddess of Life, the moon and Water
Akylhoi: The Healing Voice. Goddess of Medicine and music.
Atanas: The Guiding Fire. God of the Sun and fire.
Alerhon: The Wind among the Clouds. Celestial messenger, God of Air and art.
Vei: Matron of Lovers. Goddess of Love and Sex.
Julmuri: Shaper of Heroes. Celestial blacksmith, God of craftsmen and seafaring.
Salein: The Eternal Disequilibrium. God of thieves, art and politics. Rules the known Hells.
As some of them will be mentioned down the line, and that way you don’t constantly have to open the new glossary
Bad news: (copied from the cucu thread)
My trackpad is barely responding and the usb is wonky.
While i can prolly somehow get my files onto gdrive, i have NO way of continuing any project until I have a new comp.
Which given my financial situation might be… in ten to twenty years earliest.
