@Dark_stalker Metaphorical father. He isn’t your actual father, but rather has the title ‘Father of All Demons’. I have 5 types of demons to start out with, each with different abilities. A Reaper, at the moment, would probably be the closest to an assassin styled demon.
And spoons will never cease to cause havoc and destruction, will they?

@Shawnheatherly Sure, I’ll give a quick, brief summary of them all.
~Canem: Capable of passing through solid matter, these demons are canine like in appearance, with black, shadowy fur.
~Shifter: Can change their shape and appearance to disguise as other beings at a given time. Shifters vary widely in appearance.
~Corrupter: Corrupt the souls of those in their presence, and are able to use this to their own advantage.
~Reaper: Have the ability to manipulate the darkness around them. Reaper’s generally wear the traditional reaper hooded robes.
~Torik: Mischievous demons that use dark illusions to trick unbeknownst souls. They look very much like goblins made of shadows.
All demons have amber eyes, besides Viska who has deep, crimson red ones.

Wait with the corruptor what does that mean
The more corrupt a person becomes, the more likely they are going to resort to criminal activities, commit sins, and more importantly, make pacts with demons. A corrupter can slowly corrupt souls they are near, and influence these deeds. It may take a while, but impure souls are easier to obtain.

They all sound so good and reapers “generally” wear reaper clothes does that mean we can customize them a little more and besides that do they have a set appearance?
My goal now is to take different demon souls so I have access to all their powers!
Also are there special demons, say with different powers than others?
Is there other ways to steal souls, say a contract?
Reapers would wear the robes, yet those of a higher reputation may be found with their own, recognisable, demonic clothing. When the player is recognised as worthy, they can break out of the traditional wear.
This would apply for other types as well:
Canems can gradually gain patterns and markings on their fur.
Corrupters can grow horns and such.
Toriks can gain traditional Torik accessories and piercings.
Shifters are the ones that don’t really get anything, as they can change their appearance at will anyway.
I use “can” because you are not forced to have or wear these additions, but they are simply gained with reputation. They only become compulsory if the player attends ceremonies in the underworld, where your appearance must match your reputation, if you get what I mean?
Yes, this is simply a small selection. There will be ‘one-and-only’ kinds of demons that you meet in the worlds too.
As for contracts, you can make demonic pacts with willing humans. You offer something they desire, and you propose what they shall give you in return, whether it is knowledge, a memory, personalities or a soul.
I take knowledge evertime in contract and take their soul later.
Corruptors= lawers
Reapers= boogeymen
Canem = pet ghost
Shifter= imaginary friend
Torik= those imps that you want to kill but grow on you

To turn a human into a demon, you would have to fully corrupt their soul and then murder them. Once their soul takes the form of the corrupted spirit, you would have to bond with the demon to transfer the souls and then break the bond. I suppose it is all possible, but would take quite the hassle.

I would transform them and let them collect their own souls but they split them with me.
