Silly syntax mistakes

I just wanted to share something silly I found myself doing.

I’ve been writing a couple of ChoiceScript projects, but I also code in Java. I’ve accidentally written mixed-up syntax that isn’t valid in either language several times. For example, in Java:

*if (i >= k){
i = i*k;

(the mistake is adding * fo the *if, Java doesn’t like that)

or in ChoiceScript:

*set health = health++;

The mistake is using “= health++;” instead of just “+1”

Has anyone else done silly little syntax errors like this?

I’ve definitely done the *if one a few times in other languages, and I’ve probably put the odd semicolon ; after a choicescript statement.
