When I do make an update I usually put more pomp into it lol.
I just wanted to let people know about what’s done, what I’m doing right now and planning for.

They might bring a little trouble if they land a crit, but would I lose?
I’m not sure why anyone would want to spend time in that village inhabited by poorly shapen primordial ooze.

Once again taking the bait, oh yes, very likely.
Eliphrael is somewhat of an even match, he’s getting old and nearing the end of his fighting days and ultimately he has a similar skillset to the MC’s sorcery but more focused on using it for mobility to get in close and become a sorcerous blender.
He doesn’t have the MC’s magical polyvalence, but to be fair to him mastering five different disciplines is pure insanity, it is genuinely an abnormal amount of radically different ways of using magic for a single mage. He also wouldn’t be as powerful of a mage in a direct comparison at full power. However he’s probably the most experienced battlemage there is on this side of the planet. An even fight, but definitely not an easy one.
Visamere however would eat the MC for breakfast if she was motivated enough to kill them outright. The MC is very incompatible with fighting a pure braindead bread and butter warrior champion. And Visamere has that energy in droves. Without someone to keep her at bay, forget about even slowing her down before she gets to your squishy backline and squeezes them for all they’re worth.
Once the MC gets most of their powers back, they’d stand a good chance of winning. But this is not the kind of world in which power alone guarantees victory.
I mean, you don’t have to. Besides we’re all ooze. We’re nothing but ooze.

I mean, fair, but we do have a skill to boil ones insides… Not that I would want to, but if we’re fighting to the death, boiling someones insides is pretty high on the list…
