I hope Bagration will remember this when we face him at Borodino 
I’ve had to prioritise some time periods over others, which means some areas have to get timeskipped just for the sake of getting this thing done.
The Marengo Campaign was a hard cut, but given that it’d be one which only some players would see (because the rest are stuck in Egypt), it felt less necessary than the alternatives. Same with the War of the Fifth Coalition.
If things go well, I’d like to go back and cover those gaps with DLC, and Marengo, Hohenlinden, Aspern-Essling, and Wagram would be some of my top priorities for that.

I understand Marengo, but what makes the Wot5C have less priority than the others?

It’s relatively short, and while Aspern-Essling and Wagram are both significant battles, they aren’t famous ones the way Austerlitz or Borodino are.
Basically, it’s a casualty of me trying to scope down mercilessly to ensure that the whole thing is doable.

What’s the requirements to escape Egypt with Napoleon? Do I have to reach a certain rank or reputation point with him?

It’s based on your Napoleon rep, modified by a lot of specific factors. Somewhat more specifically:
Being friends with Marmont or Murat helps. Saving Lannes at Acre helps a lot. Telling Napoleon that his wife is cheating on him in Italy helps massively.
On the other hand, basically every time you annoy him in Egypt and Syria count against you. Sparing the Jaffa prisoners and giving them to the British, or sending the French wounded over to the British are especially bad, and much worse if you do both.

Can we save characters that are supposed to die like lannes or are their death predetermined

Lannes is too powerful to allow to live.
This is not the case with certain other historical figures.

Generally speaking, I’ll let you save someone if they’re not likely to have significant effects on the course of history afterwards. So if, for example, You save Gudin, but not his leg, I can work with that.

Ah so th case like Dumas, in previous post you write to someone that we can save Dumas but he will not serve nappy army because it against his principal, so your system of work around the history save Gudin life but can’t lead army because he lose his leg, i think this clever one way buts still sad can’t fight with him
