I kinda feel MC and A are two people with the same affinity (psychopathy? straight up murdering people? I don’t know 
) and they just discovered that later in life (maybe with a murder? Maybe A murdered someone after MC pushed them) and they fell in love after that.
But honestly I feel that the one in control of the relationship since the start was MC, the one that “started everything”.
I also think that what happened with the car was something they both wanted. Idk.

Issues with Trigger Warnings;
As I’m writing chapter 3, I find myself unsure how to tag the “references to past child abuse” warning with both the PC and spouse’s past. If you’ve played the wip; “Mortal Hero: Patron of the Gods”, and would state that Caleb was abused, I suppose it’s abuse?
It’s somewhere between misguided discipline, rough handling, and parents just being bigoted jerks. Something a lot of people have experienced in the past. I mean, I’ve experienced shit that still makes me angry, but I wouldn’t say I was abused… So yeah, I’m torn on how to rate this thing. Any opinions?

I…vote for abusive parents? I had plenty earful from my parent, I’d say that’s one of the reasons why I’m a introvert grumpy.

I think it’s probably better to err on the side of tagging for past child abuse.
Sounds pretty typical for children raised before the mid to late 90’s or so. It’s interesting that something which would have been assumed as the default 20-25 years ago may today rate a trigger warning. I don’t think it quite rises to the level of -needing- a warning, but I suppose you could provide a mild one as a courtesy if you wish.
You could also just use the word “gritty” to describe your story which warns people that it isn’t all rainbows and unicorns. The darker side of humanity is shown too.

I say put the warning up as ‘Child abuse’’ . While some peoples think it isn’t abuse, it doesn’t mean it isn’t . Because it is .
Because down the line, it isn’t the gesture that should be scanned if it is abuse, but the threashhold of the victim . And its the victim that matter in the end .

I don’t think it’s possible yet to learn the password without some code digging.
If you look at the code, you’ll notice the password is coded as Mr.${Abernathy}.
The password is Mr.Abernathy (no space), but it may be subjected to changes if you decide to change the spouse’s surname.
Now that you know this little secret, you may draw your own conclusions
