Hi there,

I’m sorry to say I’ve put this project on hold at the moment. I’m editing an anthology for a publisher in Australia and it’s a pretty demanding task. Also, based partly on the Salt City Private Eye demo, I snagged a game writing contract with 3 Minute Games working on their Lifeline series, which is equally time-consuming, but also a lot of fun.

I fully intend to return to this later in the year however. The idea is to run a central investigation, with a number of side (and possibly interconnected) investigations that will make the story a lot richer if completed.

Thanks for trying the first few chapters and I’ll get back to this when life calms down a little.

First of all great to hear about your editing work and the writing contract since if what you have already submitted for SCPE is anything to go by your skills will take you far in this line. Don’t worry about the lack of updates since everyone in the COG community knows that real life takes priority and we are simply happy to know that you are alive and well and haven’t given up on the project. And lastly Thank you for logging on and letting us all know that at some point in the future we can live our collective dreams of being a magic detective with a robot butler solving crimes in a steampunk/cyberpunk city with the help of our own detective agency.
