The game is set in a fantasy world based somewhat around ours in the years of 1690-1780.

Yes there is a fantasy map, about the same size as our world, however there are “The Shrouds” which, to make a long story short, are “invisible walls” per se, except that they’re visible and no one has dared to pass them.

To sum it up:
Avians: Pretty much think that Humans, Farrul, and Howlers are “beneath” them. Part of that belief is based on the fact that, among other things:
- Avian territory is near the uncharted stretch of sea between the West and East Main and as such are far away from most of the other races.
- They have damn near the best spy network in the West Main.
Of course they’re hospitable enough to the other races. And diplomats as well (though those are quite a rarity), so long as they don’t step out of line. They follow a model of “You don’t screw with me, I don’t screw with you… much, though if you do I’ll send you off with a warning and a few bruises the first time, the second time? you’d better run.”
However to the Gillaurans they give a healthy dose of respect, after all it pays to be on good terms with the most powerful race in the West Main.
Regarding unification? They’ll step in right alongside if the Gillaurans are in it, and they might join in, albeit somewhat grudgingly, if presented with a good enough argument.
Farrulans: They generally tolerate all races, some more than others, some less, least of which being Humans (though Farrulans are pretty genial by nature so that really isn’t toleration bordering on hate it’s more of “humans are viewed as being kind of assholes”) and most of which being Howlers, who turned the Human-Farrulan Conflict on its head in favor of Farrul. They REEEEEEELLY don’t appreciate Human diplomats (except for the ones hailing from North Kenpa who they still don’t exactly appreciate but are ok with (did not participate in conflict, that’s why there’s a north and south Kenpa)) but will tolerate them to an extent.
Regarding unification: Will almost definitely join, even if the Humans are involved.
Gillaurans: Long story short, everybody’s friend and the most powerful race in the West Main though they don’t flaunt it. In order of highest esteem held to lowest: Farrulans and Avians, Humans (Howlers aren’t really on the political map much hence nary a mention of them in this post).
Regarding Unification: Would most likely be the first to suggest such.
Humans: The public’s attitudes towards other races vary between the four states but the government’s general attitude towards…
Farrulans: Still sore about conflict, and don’t really appreciate having one of their territories under Farrulan control, will still trade with them but are quite prejudiced.
Gillaurans: Somewhat afraid of them, would not DARE to make a wrong move against them (in other words the Human government kisses up to the Gillaurans).
Avians: A bit afraid of them due to reputation, but not as much as the Gillaurans.
Howlers: Howlers = Scum and Vermin.
- No, that was actually a currency, Spanish I believe, equal to about 8 ralieghs.
