A small update for you fine folks. I didn’t get a lot of writing done these last two weeks because my IRL work was quite grueling. But I have a vacation coming up in which I’m going to be writing A TON. Chapter 2 is currently sitting at roughly 6k words, and it starts with an Angel interview 
there’s some more clues about what’s in store for the band in there so yay cool awesome amirite
Also, due to popular request (mostly on Tumblr, go follow me there if you want fun facts about the band and shit posting → just look for pressplay-if) Leland is going to get some extra screentime. People rly liked him and wanted to see him as an RO, but the story makes it so that can’t happen. I have plans for him, way different plans. Anyhow, THEN people asked if he could be like a fling or sth, which I also opposed to bc it would take away from his role in the story and the emotional impact. I need him and MC to remain decidedly more distant. But I had this idea! I’m gonna give MC the opportunity to go out with him once, just once, in Chapter 2. There will not be a second date for reasons Leland will be semi-open about, but he’s letting MC know that beforehand so it won’t be like he’s ghosting them or anything. So the date will make the whole thing with him a lot more bittersweet when he makes his second appearance later in the game.
And that’s that. Just letting you guys know about this so there’s no confusion about Leland’s non-RO status and whatnot. Anyhow, hope you all have a good day/night and I’ll see you soon bye bye
Just to double check has the update gone into the public demo yet? It stops for me right after kahlena interview and not being disappointed.
I just play the demo and for me it ended with snippet of Lincoln interview.
That’s… very very odd. It goes on for a good bit after that; like the other user said, it ends after a Lincoln interview snippet. I honestly have no idea what could have caused that for you; you’re the first to report anything like that. Maybe try reloading, emptying cache or another browser?
Yeah its wierd lol played from the save but i dont think thats it and it stopped short on me again so going to try fresh to see if that helps.
I think you sound change the scene with the individuals band mates, none of them was quite the right fit, I think the girl should give confort, the drug guy scene should be more explicit and the guy with the bike maybe sex romance or whatever, because I like the final verse with falling but the scene deserve more. English is not my first language I hope you understand what I want to say
Did you played it on mobile? I played the demo again on mobile and it ends in Lincoln’s interview. Perhaps chrome or google didn’t updated the mobile web version?

Love the concept! The way it goes from playing out the past to the interview snippets is really fun and I’m really excited to see just how exactly MC fell apart!

Wow! Just, whoooa this was such a joy to read! I like the interview and flashback composition, they mix with each other really well. Love how you give other characters’ points of view in those interviews, especially because we still play and make choices as the PC we’ve created during them. This is really unique and well written, I’m looking forward to where you’ll go with this project!

The Private Dancer meet-cute with Stevie is everything I didn’t know I needed. If I ever get tired of that song, shoot me because I’m already dead. I’m normally not a person who goes for the friends-to-lovers ROs but this scene immediately won me over.
Other favorite moments: Watching the creepy movie with Stevie (the ceiling-stars detail!) and her reaction to “You could make anything look classy,” I say absent-mindedly, still focused on the moderator. I will play the most oblivious MC ever!
Question, would it be possible for our MC to pick up playing an instrument like guitar, bass, or keys? Just being the lead singer makes me feel a bit too much like Mike Love…
