Yes, on cogdemos you can change background colour, font size etc in the same way you can with released games.

Heya! The old demo is up again, but hoooooooooooooly crap is it painful to go through all that old writing. I truly hope I can wow you as I have wowed myself with the new version.
OUROBOROS ← there’s the link, anyhow! I did upload the Id101 file although it is not in the current setup of the demo, and we instead head directly to the clergy scenes, but I have allowed for codediving (for some reason it’s not letting me check on already uploaded files?? But I am pretty sure I checked the box), so you can read it that way, if you want.

ha! well, it’s not so much a rewrite as rewriting the parts that didn’t fit after finishing the whole book, ie normal editing

Wah, thank you! I am still working on it semi-privately… Right now I am supposed to be taking a break as after my separation, my moving, beginning both full-time work and studying for a new career I have had one hell of a time, but as I just told my patreons (the ones I am currently sharing devlogs with, and am eternally grateful for their support) I have been sneakily taking a webdev class (long story, that, the winding road of ouro’s development for someone as stubborn as myself, wanting to do it all myself while life raises hell around me) and I am back at it. lookie:
oh and here’s the cogdemos link! Sorry everything is in such a dissaray with links and all. When everything turned topsy turvy for me, turning away from the online aspect of developing ouro was the only thing that calmed me down. I have no idea how to handle being an online person so y’all have to live with me flailing around and doing it the best I know how. :3 sowy.

You’re doing what you can, and even going beyond that. As many of us have said across the forum “life comes first” and so if you have to do other things in the interim to succeed at the things you want to, there’s nothing wrong with it.

Is the cogdemos demo the same as it used to be or has something changed?

Maybe a passage or few in the process of getting it cogdemos ready?
Several of the ones ported from dashingdon weren’t easy as ‘plug & play’ for a lot of authors, so I wouldn’t be surprised if that were the case, but personally I think it is more or less the same as it was, aside from the parts that seem to have a slightly different word-feel than I remember. Could just be because it has been a while, though.
