Of course, to study their biology will expose many weaknesses. Said weaknesses will help the over all war effort.

We already know that the Xenos are weak, they are weak to our human spirit, they are weak towards our righteous fury, and they are weak to our firepower. I see not why we would want to examine these scale back scum we have pushed them back from our homeworld once it’s time for us to take the fight to them. Then we can do all the study’s we need… on their corpses.

Hey everyone, Chapter 3 is now live! Here’s a taste of what you can expect:
- Meet dear old Dad
- Get promoted
- Become Captain or Commander of the UEV Chamberlain
- Meet your boss
- Meet your crew
- Try (and likely fail) to impress said crew
- Head to the outer system for your first real assignment
- Prove you have what it takes to be an Officer of the Fleet!
You are also likely to run into some bugs (Heck I had to take down my first announcement post because I found a big one at the last second) so any and all feedback is most welcome. I’d love your thoughts on the Chapter, errors, mistakes, characters, plot, really everything. I know this was in the works for a long time so I hope it proves to be worth the wait. As always, thank you so much for your support and I hope you enjoy!

The Sir (for the lady characters including MC) threw me off for a bit but I got used to it. Otherwise really good update took a couple tries but I did manage to impress the crew

I have find a little error:
“Further down one of the rows you see Wagner, standing at perfect attention, blue cords around her shoulders to indicate her best in class and undefeated battle record.”
I have actually beaten her, so she is still the best student (i didn’t have a perfect record), but she ain’t undefeated.
Anyway great update.

Bug seen, both red cords and blue cords triggered for some reason, pretty sure I’m supposed to be red but I did beat Waggner so maybe that did something?:

They mark you as one of the top five cadets in the battlerankings, a feat impressive in any context. They are blue, the only cords of that color at the ceremony,a proud reminder of your undefeated record and the promising future that awaits you

Yeah. I’m just using “sir” as the honorific for any superior officer regardless of gender. Just makes things easier.

I’m glad you enjoyed that! One of my goals for Chapter 3 was to utilize some of the stuff that was undervalued in the first two chapters.
Yeah it looks like I forgot to tab and now everyone is getting the blue cords text regardless of their record. Will be fixed in the update. Thank you!
As for the Raptors, I’m going to stay quiet on when they might make an appearance. I’ll just say “soon” and leave it at that.

Both Wagner and Lucas are both off establishing their own commands right now. However, if you were to hypothetically come into command of a Flotilla at some point, you might be able to transfer them to your own command. Depending on, certain factors…

Some other poor unlucky ship has to deal with him, for better or worse. He may make an appearance later on as well.
This reminds me though, this chapter has two fairly distinct pathways for Captain and Commander. I’d recommend trying them both if you’re interested, as there is a bit of unique content down each branch.
