I like The Eagle’s Heir for this - Alexandre is the leader and heir, whereas you’re his helper (or detractor if you decide to go that way).

You know, I haven’t exactly scanned the whole library, but you’d think that games around here would allow you to be either asexual or aromantic individual.
It feels like a lot of games consider lack or romantic attraction means a lack of sexual desire, and vice-versa.

On the asexual but still romantic front that’s been getting a lot better recently! A lot of romance arcs now have were you can tell the RO you’d prefer not to have sex or don’t have sexual desire, and while sometimes it can feel a little off (The RO just immediately accepts it as cool without any sort of conversation despite themselves clearly not being asexual), it’s moving leaps and bounds in the right direction.

A lot of this has to do with educating authors here.
Just like the non-binary and gender-fluid concepts, these are concepts many of us (myself included) do not have a lot of practice or teaching to fall back on when writing. Most of us have had practice writing conversations, so you don’t need as much education needed for them to appear decent in games. This isn’t the case for gender, sex and attraction concepts and relationships.

Agreed!
I changed the wording in that part because I realized it sounds like I’m saying "its getting better on the asexual front not the aromantic front’ when I meant “its getting better on the asexual who isn’t aromantic front”
Its amazing and encouraging how much awareness has grown in the community even over the past year or so.

That’s something I haven’t quite done myself but am attempting to do better with. The ROs in my game so far haven’t been assertive in pursuing the MC and passively accept a disinterest in sex. It’s okay for the few I’ve posted and am working on because of one reason or another but I’m planning to have that play a larger part in some of the future relationships.

Yes, possibly the closest example I have seen as of yet. Another example could be the Great Tournament, where Sir Robert was clear designated as the Hero in the world up until he was killed / captured, and then you, as the protagonist, are pretty much thrust into the Hero’s position as a desperate, last minute stand-in.
Still, I would like to see a story that more completely embraces this concept.
