I have always loved mini games within games if they contribute to the progress of the game but can be skipped without hindering you progress.

I have been working on such a feature on and off over the years for this game but have constantly hitting a brickwall due to the nature of CS. Now I finally have developed what I believe is a great balance for the game. Had to bang my head many many times against the dash to figure a way out for the system to work. I only have a small part of the code done but works as hoped. happy danceMy brain is fried but in a good way. I will need another week or so but will be looking for six or seven beta testers to try and break it as is for me it is a very very complex code. I am sure some of the gurus out there could have helped but it was so unusually it would have took half a night to explain the concept lol.

Made some good head way into the mini game, tonight in all 5,700 word count. Over all the main game is now sitting at 95k, ow so close to breaking that 100k mark

As much code and writing done so far I am only 3% done with the mini game. Seems I have to spend equal parts test as well as coding, but minor achievement the AI is working great. In fact I may have to dumb down the first opponent as they are guessing correctly 80% of the time lol.

Ow I should mention what the mini game is, Dudo dice, or liars dice more commonly know. Wriing the mini game as a stand along game with ranking and up to 100 opponents for testing. It will tie into the game with very little effort.

Had a few hours to spare so worked on Dubo and managed another 1100 word count. I am close to playing a full round against the challanger. But that is if she/he has first bid. If you have first bid she/he will only counter then the game ends. I think if I can get another couple of nights somewhere I might have a full round completed.

Still there are nine normal rounds and should anybody wins dice back that can extend the play, of course of no idea how for that could go on. The odds of winning a die back in the game are slim so if I double up and make it playable to 18 hands I think it will keep from glitching.

Of course will have to see how beta testing goes. Once I have the first hand playable I will need beta testers for it. 5 or 6 should do. If intrested just let me know thanks.

A little side note while creating the code for Dubo I thought of a process to using a password system. It is longish but even if I update new var the pawword system will take you up to where the last update dropped off.
