Non-existent Variable

I noticed an error that’s been bugging me since yesterday and I think it’s a bug in choicescript or something but a part of my code looks like this

*choice
	*if (power !=false)#Detailed Bio
		*goto bio1
	*if (power != false)#Abilities
		*goto power_explain
	#Subjects and People of Interest
		*goto SOI1

It gives the error ‘Non-existent variable abilities’ and also ‘Non-existent variable Detailed’

Maybe try leaving a space between variable and choice.
Example:

*choice
  *if (power ! = false) #Detailed Bio
    *goto bio1
