As Hollo I killed my kid self lol, it was in character for my Hollo so even though it made me all anxious I did it. So since Hollo killed them to absorb their energy im not sure how that bodes for the sequel but I’m very interested and very confused

Was trying to go on a date with Orin but out of nowhere she is started dating Hathor? What the actual hell…There was literally no telltale that she fancied him it felt pretty one sided from Hathor…Ugh I spend 2 days on this book and after that scene I just cant make myself finish it…Really was looking forward for at least something interesting

Hey @MariaVZolotova, Orin and Hathor spend a lot of time playing games together, and if you choose to see what Orin has to say after the murder, she tells you she likes Harthor. But don’t worry - keep reading and stick with Orin when she needs you most

Just completed it…it’s so well written and interesting that by the time I reached the end of book 1 I was disappointed…I thought it would be longer… Can’t wait man for the next book…
Also, you should remove the skipping pages option as there are some info/lore people might skip because they might seem long to but it’s beneficial to the story…Also, the romance feels a bit off at some points…

So was the date with Ase the one where you both try to set Ledger up on a date?

If you converted this into a straight up novel, it would be an instant classic. The lore, the world, the characters, the story, Everything about it is top notch.
A real shame the late release of a standalone app didn’t let it get the attention it deserved. I initially started it on the omnibus app but it just felt weird and I had to hold off despite the clear quality of the game and wait for the standalone

Hey @Samael_Blackblade. Really really lovely to hear you found it interesting! Regarding length - I had to cut about 80,000 words from the final draft just to get it all finished to the same standard, andmake the ending work. Luckily, that content will be back in the sequel!

@No_This_Is_Patrick that’s right, Ase is meant to be shy and distant. She has a really difficult family life and treats Ledger like a second father - even though he’s cold and emotionally distant. She tries to emulate his behaviour - and can be cold and sharp with people herself. But the cupboard scene was meant to hint at something more beneath that… It was meant to show Ase struggling with growing feeling for the MC, but not knowing how to express that, or even feeling very comfortable expressing it. Hopefully she comes over as a character who could open up with quiet, loyal attention. Otherwise she’s meant to come over to other readers as a bit unpleasant and a kind of mini-Ledger. Anyway - that’s for the sequel

@MoSalahscores I have no idea how all that omnibus stuff works, but I’m glad some people are enjoying it! I can only see the GooglePlay and Steam reviews, and I know there are a lot of people who felt the experimentation threw their enjoyment… but I reckon if I can do the things I tried better and simpler next time, and with way more reader choice - I think it might change a couple of people’s minds about what an HG has to be!

I think one of the issues that would have put off some people were the chapters that were “not about the MC” so the player might be tempted to skim over those chapters. Of course later on if you took the time to pay attention, you get to see the rewards
