New Hosted Game! "Hero or Villain: Genesis" by Adrao

This seems to be a repeated point around here, but it’s a solid point- amazing variety of choices…but in the process, it loses a tight narrative and needed focus on the characters; broad but shallow.

Not to say that there aren’t some hooks that hit their mark-our mechanical rival is a nice trench in this shallow ocean and I am glad that they come for the ride in the sequel. The fight with the butterfly was also a nice touch.

All in all…there are a multitude of good threads to follow here, I just hope that the bundle as a whole is tightened with more memorable characters and a stronger plot in the sequel.

3/5.

I am not sure what is going on.
If I am wearing armor, it doesn’t matter if I am weak. My armor should still be fully active even when I absorb the stone. But we got knocked out every time with 0 hp.
In battle the enemy can rarely damage us so it is annoying that the same enemy can knock us out completely.

The main idea is that is the stone what is really knocking you out… As when you first got your powers… The SA is merely giving you a coup de grace. But, maybe this is not clear in the way it’s written?

When SA absorbed the stone she didn’t get knocked out. So why are we getting knocked out.

Ok, I have changed that passage to:

“Putting its arm inside, the Steel Aeronaut grabs the stone and secures it inside its fist. Nothing else happens, and you guess that stones cannot transfer power through the metal armor”.

Basically the SA isn’t absorbing the stone there, but taking it home to “consume” later… does that make sense?

(note that this will only be changed in the next update, which might still take another few days, as I am working on v.1.1., with some extended RO sequences)…

Wouldn’t that create a problem with heroes/villains also wearing armor, who will nonetheless absorb the stone’s powers on the spot?

Honestly, I don’t think it was a big problem to begin with. Just handwave it with ‘The Steel Aeronaut actually prepared for the stone’s feedback, while the MC had no idea what grabbing the stone would do to begin with’, or something like that. Or make the Steel Aeronaut mention ‘I invented something to prevent me from fainting from the stone’s power’, or something along those lines. Since her life seems to revolve around collecting those stones, it’d make sense.

Mmmm… good point!

How about " Putting its arm inside, the Steel Aeronaut grabs the stone and secures it inside its fist.
Nothing else happens, which surprises you slightly. Could the armor have a system that temporarily inhibits the stone?"

Seems fine.

You don’t automatically consume the stone either if you wear gloves, though.

Sequel is demanded. One of best super hero related games i found around here, or in my case a badass villian! :trophy:

Does anyone know who Lyro is and where we can find them? I’ve played through multiple times but can’t seen to find this ally.

Lyron? You have to choose the options to patrol the city and after 2-4 times you’ll meet him.

How do you become a vampire

For the hero route you have to chase after the steel Argonaut and go to the Philippines by becoming a courier instead of paying for your flight directly to Mongolia burial eventually meet the recipient of the packager delivering and tell her you want to become her vampire servant and then you can kill her afterwards if you have a strong enough the psyche to resist her dominating you mentally. That’s the gist of it I’m sure someone else can give a more detailed step-by-step

I think @Damar_Glover explained it well, it’s a somewhat obscure path within the game (and kind of meant to be that way, as it was originally just a “fun” thing for me to insert into the game… somehow in all my games there is the possibility of becoming a vampire -well, in Tokyo Wizard it is a lych-, as I found this to be a fun mechanic). But, it seems that people like this part, and it is carried on into the sequel, obviously…

Anyway, hope you enjoy it!

I just found this thread, and since the game developer is kinda active: How can I romance the Police Captain (Cant spell her name). I tried to romace her several times, with 70% charisma, and 85% relationship percentage with her, yet to no avail. I did it before, but I wanted to do it again but do a different ending l, but I cant. Does anyone have any tips?

Are you more heroic or villainous? Did you meet and defeat the mysterious psychic worm (Villardi’s side quest)?
