@lightdrago3 to romance Kyle, invite him to the casino, and before you leave for the night, you can make your intentions known.
@Nathan_Faxon Malaya is not an RO. She is not in enough scenes to justify it.
You need a high relationship with Kate or she has to be your girlfriend. Visit her house in chapter 10. Talk to her alone. You need $18,000.
One is achieved if you visit the Milford farm in chapter 10. The other is achieved during the fight with Barnabas if you took the trip to Milford. Are those the two you mean?
In chapter 7 if you have $20,000 or more, you can choose the option āI thank Dr. Oden for helping me and ask if thereās anything I can do for her.ā after meeting her.
@JimD Hello Iām new to the forum but Iāve been playing COG and HG for quite a while now and I just want to say AWUOT was amazing a FIVE STAR for me.
I loved Olivia but i havenāt tried to romance her. Raj I hated him but I have no choice but to hang out with him. Kate was ok i liked how she cares for her father despite what he has done to her in the past. Kyle whom I hated at first(this was when I first played the game and romanced Kate) was a complete surprise for me, I LOVE LOVE LOVE him, heās the kind of person I want to be with in real life, he so forward and sarcastic, he tell you whatās on his mind, a great lover once you get to know him, and the way he loves his son Matty beyond anything and does everything for Matty was heartwarming. I love him ugh and my MC and Matty connected, Might I suggest if ever there will be a sequel a chance or a choice to mentor him, teach him everything I know about time control and experience being a father to him with Kyle?
I hated Barnabas which means you did a good job at creating this crazy, power hungry antagonist.
I also have some question regarding the game which I wish you could answer, Is there a way to make all the time controllers Jeremy, Alisha,Malaya and even Matty to team up with me and fight Barnabas, I tried many times but Alisha wonāt join me.
Another is who are the characters I can romance, from what I know itās Olivia, Raj,Kate and Kyle but google play says that
there are 4 and a secret one, who might that be can you tell me?.
Thankyou so much for this game I loved it especially itās replayability, which sadly some COGās donāt posses, Iām hoping for a sequel and that time travel aspect Dr. Oden proposed, this has so much potential already and I hope you continue this.
Interesting because I enjoyed Barnabas! Of course he was an ass but he was the perfect Villian for our MC and you have to admire that.
Kate I romanced with my second walkthrough and her story is touching and a little tragic, good thing I robbed the bank to help her with her dad. Sheās my favourite romance so far, sheās adorable and possesses strong willpower. Plus she likes privacy between the two of you which relates to me in a way.
The romance options I know of is Olivia, Raj, Kyle, Kate and the secret romance must be Alisha, you have to treat her well and follow her rules, also giving her a care package out of good will is bonus points, then when she knocks you upside the head tell you encountered Barnabas and want her help to stop him, she will try to leave and try to convince her to stay. Itās always worked for me and when you see her at the carnival sheāll confess feelings for you. Also you can subtly flirt with her on your first encounter by asking if sheās been following you, then pick the āIām a lover not a fighterā option and Alisha being Alisha will turn that into an innuendo, Iām not sure if that helps push towards her romance but itās worth a try nevertheless.
To get all the time travellers to help you, do this:
Treat Alisha well, follow her rules and help her out when given the option, and ask her to help you taking down Barnabas or fighting him together. She can be difficult to please at first since she doesnāt make it obvious. Choose options that agree with her, so ask about the powers of time travel, use the flirt option I showed you, donāt help the little girl and balloon, tell her sheās breaking her own rules when she steals from the officer and this should get you a high relationship stat. Oh and do NOT ask her about her own powers or her past, thatās against one of the rules.
Accept Malayaās offer to go travelling with her in exchange to apprentice Olivia.
Convince Jeremy from jumping off the bridge, then persuade Barnabas to leave Jeremy alone (I had high charm so all the persuade options would work).
@Obsidian welcome to the forums and thanks for the feedback. Iām glad you liked Kyle. I enjoyed writing his sarcasm and wit. His relationship with Matty gives him more dimension that he seems to have in early chapters.
I tried to make WUT replayable. I prefer replay value over linear choice games. A sequel is a bit of a longshot but itās not impossible. I have a lot on my writing plate
Oh and while youāre at it, check out another game by @JimD called Zombie Exodus, highly detailed and massive replay value. Itās up there in my favourites along with Unnatural, Tin Star and Life of a Wizard
@JimD yeah I understanding if itās a bit of a long shot considering you have other ideas for a game and want to do that but Iām still hoping for a sequel though. If a sequel doesnāt happen Iāll just ask my dear friend Imagination to make one for little ol me.
I stumbled upon something in the game that got me thinking > āIn that second list, you recognize a nameāAnthony Pacienza. You ponder the name. Where do you know him from? For now, you put Edās files away and hope to remember the name later.ā
Who is this guy from the Sylvio group folder,I never did meet him on the game? @Nathan_Faxon thankyou Iāll try that with alisha and hope I finish all the achievements. I have a bad experience with Choice of Zombies so I hope Zombie Exodus can change the way I think about the zombie apocalyptic theme and @JimD wrote it so Iām 100 % sure itāll be so good.
You interact with the others on a personal level, you make friends, enemies and possibly love interests. Some you will love and others you will hate but thatās how the game is meant to be, to feel bonds with these characters.
Read the separate ZE forum and you can read about otherās experiences, just play a little bit of it first since thereās a ton of spoilers in there
But back on topic, I agree with you on @JimD making a sequel, because the Epilogue when you and Oden try to unlock time travel would be a nicely developed even if the two only achieve it by a few minutes. But like he said, heās writing a lot so my hopes arenāt too high for it, besides the ZE sequel has got me all giddy
Working time travel, unlike your ability to just slow down time a lot largely unnoticed by others is almost sure to bring both of you to the attention of the US government, which may not turn out to be a good thing, at all.
Time travel would be almost invisible, because the only person to have any memory of it occurring and changes in the present would be the MC. In the game if you donāt put Oden in her place the government will notice your powers, like Alishaās rules stated people shouldnāt know about your ability and Oden was one of these people Alisha warned you about because she uses you for her own accomplishments and pretty much sells your soul if you donāt do anything about it. slowing time is more noticeable than time travel for obvious reasons, doing the impossible, disappearing in thin air etc.
Finished playing the game and liked it very much. Wanted to ask if this was a bug? Or is there an update that already fixed this? Raj asked if I wanted to join him to the casino I choose no. Then Olivia asked if I wanted to go with her to the tattoo thing and I said sure. But the game still makes me go with Raj to the casino. Why? Or if this is fixed then I think I just need to update.
No error, if you read carefully Raj actually tricks you into going to the casino with him because he never said where the two of you were going. Itās kinda inevitable so you might as well just agree with him
@JimD me too Iām having trouble finding the hidden achievements, sorry in advance if ever this is bothersome but my OCD makes me want to achieve it all.
