I do have a question about the demo; is it the same I read long ago, or have you updated it recently?

Checking the date of the demo posting and your feedback, it should be the same demo you played. I suppose I could update it, but there’s only been minor edits to the first Chapter since then. I’m saving bigger changes–like adding world-building flesh, outfits, hair descriptions–for when the game enters beta testing.
I really like hearing and reading your progress too! Keep it up!

I found this choice for ethnicity confusing. The term “brown people” can also be pejorative. I think the common “choose your skin colour” choice works better.
Will each love interest get 15 dates?
Hey, thanks for playing the demo and for bringing the complications of the word “brown” to my attention. The term “brown” isn’t a traditional pejorative, but does have controversy behind it, on who it includes and excludes. Here’s a Wikipedia article, a NBC News piece, and an NPR talk. I honestly wasn’t aware of this issue when writing the chapter–in real life and online I’d only seen brown (or Brown) used as a rallying point. I’ll have to have a think about how to change the writing. Could capitalize it but that might have more political subtext than I want. What you propose I’d have to re-structure the scene. Hmmm.

Thank you giving me the opportunity to clarify the date number because it’s confusing! The number 15 is from me counting dates by location. Each LI has 3 unique dates and 3 generic dates. The generic dates are available to all LIs, and take place in the same location. How I arrived at 15 dates is 4 LIs x 3 dates = 12. 12 + 3 generic dates = 15. I guess I could count it like 4 LIs x 6 dates = 24, but that seems like giving me way too much credit.
The important thing is, if you fall in love with Ziya, you can have 2 full game runs of different dates with him.
