Update time!
Honestly I’m loving this chapter so far. Hence why I’ve written almost a thousand word per day! That means:
Around 7K words have been written for chapter 7.3.
A Patron poll was put up. I’ve only been pumping out chapter, after chapter, so I’m also going to start working on short stories as well! (The poll in Patron decides which!)
I did take a few days break to recuperate before getting to it, so the next update will hopefully be on the 15th of next month!

Saying its just his memories and body scars when it mostly abt his loss of the ppl he loves. He was all :" can’t believe he almost ruined progress by bringing up her" when its his fault he’s a medic wtf. Sometimes if feels like its his fault and its fked up he’s being “relieved” he bc forces someone else who’s way to young to have to deal w this..[/spoiler] he acts like she has a right to comfort A w.o acknowledging HE broke them. He doesn’t just get to be the healer and say “o well I nvr wanted the rols. I’m so sad for everyone but screw you I don’t want the burden. Hey, lets break a child to take over!!!” IDC if its necessary, but it’s ignoring emotional responsibility! Every time he conformts someone for shit he made happen too, its like he l=can just ignore it idk why but he makes me want to scream, acting surprised and worried A hasn’t fully healed,. Like fk him for being surprised but that but predicting it happening w/ ppl like V bc that wasn;t rly his fault. Total denial of the emotional toll of his actions. Idk. He apologized but he makes excuses when excuses don’t matter when u ruined someones life
I’m gonna be honest, I think I’m having a hard time following this
From what I understand, you’re saying that John is at fault for causing Alex’s pain? I mean, in a way, yeah that’s true, he wasn’t involved with it, but he did mess up by not telling anyone and not asking for help (Mostly because Jinwa wittled down his allies to the point only GKM and Vigil are left so he’s afraid of asking anyone for help)
He should ALSO have known that saying the MC’s name in front of Alex is going to cause them a lot of pain, open wounds, but he’s a dr and a human so he made a stupid mistake, and that’s one of his flaws, for someone who can heal wounds, he sure doesn’t know how to mentally fix people. (Prolly cause he’s mentally broken himself heh… yeah I feel like that’s a recurring theme-)
But I’m not sure I’m understanding the part where you said he’s “breaking a child to take over.” Technically, the MC isn’t supposed to take over, John (spoiler if you’re not that far off) but John never expected the MC to be competent to defeat an Ordo Solathis (Anchor) and had made a plan.
Adrian, however, knows John isn’t fit in a leadership role, because he’s too ‘broken’ and with how capable the MC is, is allowing the MC to lead for a change.
Hopefully I understood your points! I’m not defending John at all btw, he does have his flaws, and one of those flaws is that he’s a medic who can heal physical wounds, but has trouble fixing mental ones.
Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t that supposed to be increase in charisma?

Found this my Mc is male. And is AL x Blaine a route? Been wanting that since the start and was skimming through coms to get confirmation without bothering about it but alot of coms and haven’t found anything. That pair route feel like the most natural to me. Childhood sweetheart/ex-partner meets new crush/current partner. Girl’s first love being reunited with his first love and ex partner. And Al seeing her first love’s new partner is just as inlove and also close/intimate as she is with mc is a Rollercoaster.
P.S. at this time the last time I read was the 3rd maybe 4th chapter update and read up until the second mission after the cafeteria scene. Got busy and stopped said I’d pick up after 2 or 3 more updates. Next thing ik is we 7 chapters in and I see in the comments Al is back which I kinda figured.
This week has been semi productive which is good! I’ve started my work on the short book as for the main book, I may have hit a wall-
The main book is now 20K words!
That means I wrote around 4K words, for now I’m moving on from Vale/Vivian’s scene which since it’s romance and needs to be purple prose and it requires a lot of thinking and editing. So it’s quite time consuming.
The short book is now 1.5K words!
Which brings the total amount of words I’ve written to 5.5K words. Not as much as I wanted, but still progress! I may have to extend the release of 15 but I’ll try to meet the deadline. Thanks for sticking with me you guys! <3
The short book has been completed, I just need to fill out the choices, the shy and assertive route, which would take around 3-4K more words, bringing it to around 8-9K words, with 4k word per play through!

I was convinced I would be gunning for Adrian but then alice came in like a truck and shattered anything I was going for I already liked the idea of them reuniting after all this time but making her into a werewolf hybrid pulverized me , my brain short circuited and I’m going all in on alice, the arms,the tail and her ears including her height are making me feral, I thank you so much for designing her this way, all of this and her personality and sweet interactions has me in a chokehold, I’m praying for a scene in the future where we get to pat her fluffy tail or ears, I can’t wait for more scenes with her in general thank you so much for everything.
haha, funny thing, I just finished polishing an option on short story and it does contain that! But it will also contain lots of head pats for A in the future
Alright, everything has been written, the steamy scene with V has been edited and all things connect, I ran the tests a couple of times and Phew. No problem!
Tomorrow, Patron will get Chapter 7.3, which is around 25,000 words update, as well as the poly short story, which is around 6,000 words!
And for the public release, Chapter 7.2 will be going up at around 24,000 words!
