there great, they seam to define the character a lot more than the old selections .

Thats good and I got rid of the generic names like āironā and āleatherā and used more historical names but left hints out to the right hand side to help the player understand the meanings if they didnāt know latin.
hehe ,I did enjoy that because I do know the Latin for some of the weapons and armour
that you mentioned and it made made the gaming experience little better for me.

Quick update on the game. I am working to implement a checkpoint save system, that players can use if they die. I am also implementing a hard save system that will use a password so players can keep their stats on other Roman Era games I make. Right now there are several in mind. Such as going to Britannia to get the lost eagle of the 9th or perhaps live the life of a gladiator in the arena and finally play the role of a roman politician on your path to become emperor.
Iād really like to see the Roman politician story. That would definitely be cool.
I quite enjoyed being able to play the character background, it made the protagonist feel more closely connected with me, as well as giving character motivation. Found it a bit odd that intonation was flat out stated with the dialogue, and the armor picking section felt a bit tedious, it could have used some more payoff. The justification for allowing a gender option felt a bit weak, but I understand its inclusion given the. . .atmosphere of the forums. Overall I look forward to seeing where the game goes.

Iām really glad you liked it and I honestly donāt know when it may be done. I am only 14 and with exams and many other things going on over the summer it may take a while. I am however aiming for a Fall 2012 release.

There is much more to be added to the game, but you may only fight in the roman legion. If I wanted to add other branches such as be a roman senator that may come later as an expansion or be an entire separate game.

Oh yes there is a lot more coming. The introduction and that first ambush is just a touch of whats to come and the overarching story line hasnāt even been introduced yet.
Ever heard of the Teutoburg Forest Massacre? Thatās where the character and his legion, along with close friends, will eventually end up.
