I am going to ask politely that this discussion over sexism be stopped on this thread. I feel that it should take place on the “Gender, power, and priviledge” thread instead. I would like to refocus this thread back to the game ‘Legions of Rome’
Is it going to be possible to somehow become emperor in this game?
@Canisa That’d be a lot more acceptable if not for that fact that you insist that EVERY game in should be completely gender egalitarian. Some people actually want to experience a compelling story of overcoming hardship in a realistic setting, not just another generic all sexes are inexplicably identical except in appearance setting. Some people like variety. Some people like games to sometimes be more than mindless escapism. Their opinions are not less relevant than yours just because they might be men.
@ScarletGeisha Well Canisa’s made it pretty clear that her official stance is that no one should ever be allowed to make a CoG game that isn’t sexually egalitarian. She’s basically dedicated her time here to exterminating any hint of touching on sexism in CoG games to the point of what we saw with Vendetta… What am I to think?

That is quite a possibilty, but would take a lot of time to make a gladiator storyline. The story of a gladiator is worth writing another entire game for actually.
