Kitsune is back in my mind and I’ve been working this week to tidy up Chapter 14 and make a start on 15. I think I said Lux was priority 1, but if I could get Kitsune nearly finished by the end of the year I would be so happy…

Only 1 chapter left to write!!! It’s so close! I’m going to be starting a new job this month (because full-time writer doesn’t pay too well ) but this book is now so close to done and I think I can confidently say we’ll have a release date this year!
I didn’t get much writing done in January due to starting a new job and then in Feb, writer’s block hit me hard! However, I think I’ve pushed through and the final chapter is finally working. Dare I say this should be ready for submission by end of April…?
I remember reading this one a while ago and enjoying what little was there. Coming back now I think it’s even better. I really like the pace and flow of how you write dialogue.
Okay so this one stalled out completely after February. I’m on the last chapter and it’s proving to be such an energy drain so I’ve been putting my energy into Lux. I still have every plan to finish this one soon, but I can’t force it so we’ll see what happens.
On an exciting note, I’ve commissioned the art for this book, and to say it’s going to be a very special collaboration is an understatement…more details coming soon
You did a good job, just take a break if you have to don’t ruin yourself on making a good story on next to the ending. And my personal opinion, I love the fox popping out of nowhere and shoved into our lives pretty much. But I have worked with family But I would hate to work for a family member. I barely know and don’t even like. That would be the worst existence ever.
Apologies for the lack of update last month. I was on a business trip and then on holiday so I didn’t have much time to write. But now I can say Kitsune is so so so nearly finished!
I’m just working on the last scene in the epilogue and then it will hit the final edit. I’ve also received some of the art which will be shared on my Ko-fi first but will be previewed here when the game is ready for submission!
The writing is now finished! Just going through final edits and playthroughs and then I will be preparing the art assets for submission. Around this time I will also be offering beta-testing. More details on that in the coming months.
I haven’t checked this yet, but an average play-through is clocking in at 60k so it’s a much longer story per play-through than my previous games which usually come in around 25-40k.
