Those who wanted to kill Andus have wanted to do so for a while. Darvis soldiers killing Sophia’s family probably won’t change things.

Then again, I still think I know more of his crimes than most of your followers.

Not yet, I still want to discover him more first

I always wanted him dead, so. Tbh, the things with Sophia’s family is sad, but it doesn’t do much for me in terms of excusing her personality.

It’s actually excusing why her personality like that, but what not excused is how she treats people.

I can see why she hates Darvis, but…well, she’s still a meh to me. She’s a meh all across the board xD

I am going to piggy back a little on our Dancer’s idea. There will come a time where inflicting more pain on Sophia’s backstory will get… “old” for a lack of a better term.

We have done enough to make her a sympathetic figure and we still need to get to a point in the story where it is “show, don’t tell.” I want to get to the point where I am feeling sympathy organically. Also, too much of a sob story will raise my cynicism and make me not believe in it. (Watch an American reality show like this season’s AGT and you will get the idea.)

I think of there is any character’s arc that needs some reinforcing to make me pity her or believe her path is “real” it is (ironically) Mel.

Though I want to finally talk to Kris and delve into Clithus’ character more soooo, yeah. I must go and contemplate patience.

Clithus is definitely interesting for me. Also, I want to hug her. XD Kris, well, one can just imagine the troubles she’s had since she’s a peasant in Andus’s rule, and resorts to stealing (I can’t imagine she does it for fun.) I would like a little fleshing out of Melissa’s story. Not necessarily in a sad way, because not everybody’s had it bad, and I like her as she is.

Well, I took it on myself to do a Mel run through with the options that were there. It is kinda sparse beyond her marriage. I mean, you have the balcony scene and then water throwing on Sophia (if you drank her cup.)

The thing is, as it is written the only other time that you could get with her is during the time skip or in later chapters.

In reality, I understand we can miss things going on in friend’s lives. However she is family and as a lady of the court it would be impossible to remain completely hidden in a palace/castle for two years.

Also (and I ask this as an open question to my fellow analysts/critics), how strong of a defense is the family/honor excuse that she gives? I mean, of we stick to the 2 years avoidance and she only NOW works up the courage to talk on my wedding day, would she stick around if I declared my undying love or would she say more and split?

I have not spent a lot of time examining post-wedding Mel because (again) the story seems to be trying to ship me with Sophia, who I prefer anyways. So, Team Mel, feel free to make your case based off what is written.

Well, considering the time period, it probably has some value, not that I’m any great history expert, but considering that it’s not set in, say, Japan, where honor was probably the most important value/virtue, I don’t think it holds up very strongly. At least not as strongly as she would like. I think it also depends on how she was raised. Maybe Duke Clarent is one of those dudes that believe in death before dishonor. A regular Ned Stark. XD
Also, I totally agree that the story is trying to ship you with Sophia xD It’s practically pointing neon arrows at her that say ‘PICK THIS ONE!’ :joy::joy:

“Damn” is not a swear word exactly -_-

And why is the Pro-Andus club so small :frowning_face:

Please, tell me some redeeming qualities about Andus. I’ll wait for as long as this bag of popcorn contains food.

He’s honest, brave, somewhat loving, caring, loyal and just…

Hope the bag didn’t betray me

Wait, you’re serious?

(Apologies for video not in summary. A pain to do on my phone.)

He probably thought it was someone else. Probably the King from Unwanted Warrior, since he’s also a king dad. :joy::joy: Otherwise the poor dude is hallucinating the Andus he wanted smh

Pretty strong, and I think it’s makes sense she just have courage to talk at the mc wedding considering it’s like her… “Boiling point” since it’s quite clear she still “loves” mc. And I think she will be really happy that mc declare her love although it’s can be depends on when he declare it.

Better safe than sorry

Because “king” andus is intolerable

King Andus is nothing compared to him in term as father

Yup. King Henry is the hero dad the MCs deserve, and also the hero dad they need. :joy::joy:

Yeah I’m serious if he did not love both of his children(even a little bit) then he would not have sent marxus to stay with Velas or would kill the person who would have tried to kill MC in coming tournament

If he did not care for them then he should not be having any expectations from them but he does since our relationship with him decreases if we don’t know much about the “situation”

Why do you think he’s not just ? :astonished::astonished:

No I’m… … … … … …I think … … … … Wait what was i writing … … pops aderall tablets oh yeah just remembered :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes::laughing:

And i have not read the unwanted warrior
