What do you speculate a relationship with Clithus might be like?
Chaste, probably. And a little unsure on her part, since you’re married. And to her best friend, to boot.

It’d be almost like the one Guen has with Arthur in Guenvere WiP minus the Morgana and Lance… We could antagonize her father very quickly if not dealt carefully and lose a strong potential ally Sophia would be thrilled of your love as well as a bit sad as she might have fallen for you and Vicky would still be shooting daggers everytime she sees her but overall it’d be an exciting adventure as they would spend most of the time together since she’s also a Knight

The best part about romancing Clithus is that it will spurn Princess Sophia, her own best friend ‘betraying’ her by becoming the lover to her husband, more importantly the MC will gain influence over her only ally.
Sophia won’t fall in love with you unless you pursue her. Sophia won’t care, you just have to be nice to her if you go for Clithus.

Edit: I agree with @Legion13. If you went out of your way to be cruel to Sophia, she’ll probably be disgusted of you, and so will Clithus, I’d bet. Also, Clithus won’t romance you if you have someone else, and since you need to make the first move for Sophia to fall for you…

If memory serves me right @Sophia said it’s possible to romance princess sophia despite having low relationship with clithus (although clithus going to discourage her if that the case). That why I assuming it’s going to be the same with clithus, but I can’t be sure.

Likely so, she could feel conflicted since she’s in a relationship with her charge’s husband and it might even break one of her vows as a knight.
Oh, too bad. I wonder if it would work if one just ignores Sophia all together, technically not antagonizing her. Probably not, which means she’ll have to tolerated for the sake of romancing Clithus.

What if you did not care for her the same way she did not care for you and minimized all contract with her? Ignoring her mostly but on the plus side letting her live as she pleases (mostly, I mean she’s still a hostage technically).
I think princess sophia feeling towards mc if that the case are either just as same as now or she feels neural to mc
