Time to take this in a different approach.
I could “ship” Vicky and Javier but it wouldn’t end well for them. In fact, I think we can use stuff in game and say it doesn’t end well at all.
For instance, we have the queen’s relief that MC looks like Andus. She was saying this to Javier and is thankful that MC doesn’t “out” the secret lovers.
However, time passes and let us say that ol’ Andus finds out anyways and is ticked. Now he hates MC because he possibly isn’t his. So, what does he do? He goes Byzantine and deals with a traitor in his midst, Javier. So, when Javier says that he cannot be a father? He literally can’t be one at that point in the game.
This adds greater weight to the post-Mel conversation between king and queen where Andus reminds Vicky what happens to traitors.
Our lesson today children? Don’t ship unless you want your (or your lover’s) nethers chopped off.

Agreed, and I like Javier. But Victoria is a conniving, arrogant, manipulative, power hungry shrew who puts her ambition of making you King over everything else including your safety.
You know, I could take my theory one step further and say that the “out” would be Vicky having one more child. The rumored, but supposedly never revealed child of Javier.
Makes the Kris = Javier’s child theory and MC/Kris RO way more GRRM approved.
