@Vattena that is amazing you should be proud in your work and not worry about the imperfections and focus on the perfections
This is the first time knowing how to fire an arrow has come in handy for me!
I looked it up at WikiHow.
Thank you. I was also curious as to wether counter magic is a thing your character can do, if we will have multiple options for rewards when we win a part of the Tourney, and if we will be able to dedicate a the victory to an individual, or wear a ladies favor during the Joust?
I’m going to start a change, org petition to convince @Sophia to make counter magic a thing. nods sagely She’ll have to do it then.
I think she said that a Sophia favor is possible depending on the relationship stat. I just had the passing thought of how ticked that Marxus would be if you had a Mel favor on yourself.
Don’t see why it can’t be a thing, in theory.
Awesome, I can finally give Javier the credit he deserves! And maybe get a subtle dig about how much of a better father figure, or mother figure, he is than either of my actual parents.
Stick with father figure. I doubt a knight/general like Javier wants to be compared to a “motherly” figure in front of the nobles.
But Javier is our Mama we said so as a babe and Jawier agreed in a fit of laughter this happened in the kingdom of Dabier
Ohhh dear, I’m getting “Tourney at Harrenhal” vibes here! It’s funny though, my MC is practically an idealised RP of Rhaegar Targaryan!
A thought, could we get bonus points with Sophia during the tournament? Say a knight was loudly slandering Sophia/Clithus and the MC stepped in to give him a thrashing/archery display of superior skill due to being the husband/friend of the injured party? Otherwise Clithus could just knock him on his ass if we want points with Mel instead, tacit approval and all that.
I must confess, I forgot all about that. Since our dear Madame Chaos is a huge GRRM fan, that thought may have been in her mind.
I don’t care much for Rhaegar Targaryen!
But what about Arya Stark?
Of course I do! Loved what she did at the end of the last episode!
If I remember correctly, it’s been about a year since my last reread of all of the books, the Grand Tourney at Harrenhal was where Jaime Lannister was knighted/accepted into the Kingsguard. Arya wasn’t born yet.
Me either.
Arya Arya, she’s are woman, if she can’t kill it, we’re probably F®®®ed.
Rhaegar Targaryen was one of the two most selfish people in the Seven Kingdoms at that point. The other one was Lyanna Stark!
Lyanna was a fourteen year old spoiled into naivety Arya, Rhaegar was grown adult with two children. He deserves a far larger portion of the blame. Not that I’m excusing Lyanna. Just advocating greater hatred of Rhaegar.
Also at least one of the three kingsguard present should have grasped the misunderstandings that could arise from their secrecy.
That’s pretty much my view on the matter. Rhaegar wasn’t thinking with the head on his shoulders either!
Rhaegar wasn’t thinking with the head on his shoulders either!
Regrettably true of every character save arya, varis, and davos.
