Are Archery and The Melee also affected by more than one stat?
I think my MC is losing it - at the dinner scene he gulped down Princess Sophia’s drink to prove it wasn’t poisonous but the actual intent going through my head was more on the lines of:
‘I’m just the second prince, this marriage has already killed my potential, she just makes everything awkward, I’m completely disposable to the King, I can never be the with the woman I want, hell poison might be a mercy compared to mediocrity.’

That didn’t happen in the comic, so I didn’t think of that possibility. 
But yeah, maybe I can add some scenes or two.

Archery is… Archery. 
Perception may also be useful in archery. As for the melee, charisma, blades and strength can be used.
Is Geography or Religion ever going to be useful?

Yes yes, of course. Geography is useful when the mc starts exploring in the story. Religion is important if you wanna impress some clergy folks. Both of them may also determine what occupation you’ll have in the future, if you’re not king.

Excellent. I’ll go with a good strength/blades build and dominate the Joust and Melee. For an archery run would it be possible to win with a high enough archery skill even if your perception was low?
How many occupation you have in mind right now?
