it is possible for a king to have a concubine and a queen. it was done quite often in the past.
Maybe spin a convincing argument (more so for high INT character), like how house dela Blayves has a record of killing a prince that was married to one of them, IIRC though, maybe I just read that sentence wrong.
Just want to share my opinion regarding mc possible father, Javier. I guess it’s make sense since when I choose to call him dada, this are what I got:
