First I’d like to thank everyone for their illuminating pirectives. It seems mother dearest hinged her bets on mercella and kept my character from developing any friends that could tip her off to the deception, or earn his affections instead.

youy can buy stuff in chapter 3 and then you can also buy mercenaries ( but that would need more than just monthly allowances imo )

It is a theory. We know he has a family of some form, vaguely hinted at by the “Dada” scene. Canon Javi ends up with his child at the end. Who it was has not been mentioned specifically.
