my bad lol
I didn’t know what you were talking about.

So, finally I have decided I will go with Christine or may be no one. Because, Sophia is judgmental and I can’t stand it. Melissa has got her own priorities so do I she can stick with her priorities. And about conquering lucarex, there will be war. And if Sophia tries to claim the throne she is a dead woman. Enough with with this being good who ever comes in my way is dead.

shiett im should have not bring the knife with me ._.

Still doesn’t feel too hard of a decision for me.

Not that my Prince would kill him (unless the King gives him good reason to have him retaliate with force), but nothing would make him feel any sympathy for a man who didn’t even attempt to connect with him and made it clear he wanted nothing to do with the second prince. And he knew how badly it felt to lose a love without warning and then takes his second son’s (possible) own first love away? That’s quite a hypocritical choice of actions that seem to stems from favoritism toward Marxus and very obvious loathing toward his second son due to who is his mother. My Prince would actually flat out tell him call the guy a coward who closed himself off from others because he was too weak to deal with pain of losing a loved one and moving on from it. He’d even go as far as saying the King Andus has become no different from the magic that was used to take his loved ones away from his life.

So, unless the King shows a better side to himself, my Prince’s opinion probably wouldn’t change much even after learning what happened to the man. But now I wonder if his hatred toward the second Prince stems a bit from the fact that magic comes much more easily to him.

I also find it odd that King Andus decides to name the child after his father. I would think with his dislike toward the child, he wouldn’t want to give it a name connected to him in any way and would just leave the child to be named by his wife.

Seeing as Princess Sophia is understandable wary of the second prince (I mean, the poor kid’s father would probably not give many people the impression that the prince himself is not a heartless brute like the King) and doesn’t currently have many people she can turn to, my Prince would probably try to turn guard to find out ways to help her out without getting to close in the beginning. Maybe if Clithus is open-minded enough and can see if a second prince is being sincere about wanting, my Prince would likely go to him to find out the best ways to help Sophia become comfortable with her new life. I’m kinda hoping there will be a option to hang out with both of them and attempt to draw together as a bonding moment.

You know, I actually find myself taking a liking to Sophia the more I learn about her. She’s strong-willed, honest, insightful on a number of things, and standing firm despite being forced in the situation she is currently in. And despite the current hatred she feels toward the Prince, she does seem to waver a bit when the Prince not only tries to reach out to genuinely understand her, but also doesn’t force her to do anything against her will (like their apparent ‘duties’). I think I’m going to enjoy watching her warm up slowly to my Prince’s gentle respect toward her and be humored to see how she’ll get it across to him eventually that she’s willing to let him get closer.

And from the earlier comments about how Melissa would handle a situation where a Prince MC once loved her, but comes to move on to love someone else:

If she really would attack Sophia or another RO in a fit a jealousy, that is a amazingly selfish thing for her to do. She had already chosen her duty over the the second Prince. There is nothing wrong with the choice, but it was a choice she went with rather than choosing to fight against the decision and she even kept distance from the second Prince after her marriage to his brother happened. She can’t expect the Prince to just stay alone, never to love again, when he possibly finds another chance to be with someone who will actually be able to be at his side this time (whether it comes from a slower growing love like the possible bond with Sophia or whatever Chris has to offer).

It just dawned on me… are the MC and Sophia very distantly related since both their royal houses were formed by brothers?

What happened to the sacred swords used by Lucas and Darius to seal Voohr and his demons?

And do those stones containing the sealed demons still stand?

Wait where did the demons come from in the first place?

And how did Princess Katarina die? I’m speculating… maybe it was poison or perhaps she was publicly executed, likely beheading considering her noble status.

I don’t believe they were brothers, just brotherly.

That’s disappointing, I really thought Lucas and Darius were indeed brothers.

(I like genealogy)

It would be a nice touch but the origin story is pretty cool without

what exactly is code geass?

Also how does governance work in Darvis?

Assuming it operates on the feudal model: the King allocates land to dukes in exchange for military levy and maybe also tax. Sounds good on paper but then those dukes would further divide their own territories to lesser nobles (like barons or knights… I wonder if Javier is a knight…) who swear their loyalty not to the King but to their liege lords.

This makes the kingdom itself thoroughly decentralized and doesn’t deter dukes from waging war on other dukes to whom they’ve sworn no loyalty and that can be troublesome for the entire realm. Most likely dukes govern over their regions with considerable autonomy, which brings into question what role does the King actually play?

I suppose in practice they are useful to rally all the dukes in the event of a large scale war and they do make international relations much easier as one face rather than each dukedom having its own representative. Their legislative powers might be limited since its up to the dukes to enforce them and Darvis seems to be a large country.

And feudalism relies on the manorial system to economically function, these dukes make their money through the indentured servitude of local peasants, and with all the tolls and fees they charge it makes private enterprise extremely difficult.

Historically the nobility held exclusive rights over the infrastructure of their domains - roads, bridges, mills while their farmers had to allocate a specific portion of their produce to them. Eventually we did have developments like the royal charter which allowed commoners to establish townships that allowed them greater freedoms in trading land and produce.

In other words these dukes are inhibiting the kingdom’s economy, not to mention they might have grown too powerful.

Improving international relations with Lucarex could open new trade routes, the land based economy itself would have to adapt into a money based system. Increasing economic freedoms of the commoners would decrease the same powers for the nobility, allowing for more towns to form.

Not to mention it could be possible for the King to simply reclaim land from a portion of the nobility and effectively rule over it through a council or delegates, increasing the monarch’s power over the dukes through centralization.

@Sophia, this is important. Although I don’t mind that you post my fanart at the end, in fact, I was glad to see it there, I think you should have asked me first if it was ok.
As I said, I don’t really mind and you can keep it there, but someone else might have not wanted to see it there even if they were willing to share it on the forum. Next time, just ask for permission before doing something like this. I wouldn’t like to see you getting into trouble due to something like this.

Anyway, the update was nice, I’m glad that we could help with our suggestions.

I think I have figured out my character skeleton for my primary playthroughs. His name will be Boris. Boris has green eyes and brown hair. He would also have most of his points in magic, intelligence, and charisma. The other constant is that he likes Princess Sophia, and would go out of his way to get her to like him (such as kissing her on the cheek and leaving her alone on their wedding night), even on an evil playthrough.

For example: On a good run, he would a: Let Sophia have the choice of Clithus or himself (if their relationship comes to a point where the choice isn’t obviously Clithus), or b: introduce Clithus to another girl that seems compatible (Since Sophia isn’t jealous like Melissa, she would likely understand). On an evil run, he would use an inconspicuous spell to kill Clithus, then comfort Sophia, sort of like @Darkner 's MC.

I finished editing some videos for a class project earlier and decided I had an hour to kill… so I made this:

I thought it was an accurate representation.
