You know the situation where you hate a person but there is something that draws you into them. So my MC hates Sophia because Sophia hates the MC. It is like being mean to the girl you like. Now thinking about, I have a tendency to that in real life. But of course I would never kill someone

If my mc knew of him he’d probably never let himself get that out of shape and he’s also a touch more intellectual than dear old Robert, plus his affairs won’t cause bastards and that alone should keep his “honour” much safer. Otherwise he’d have nothing against King Robert, particularly since by Westerosi standards his regime was apparently fairly stable and things only really went to shit after his assasination disguised as an “accident”.
He also has one very huge thing in common with dear old Robert they’re both “married” to absolutely awful “wives”, so is it any wonder they’d seek pleasure elsewhere? Again in my mc’s case he’d do so anyway on account of not being physically attracted to women at all.
