I was so shocked when I found out that the MC wasn’t going to marry Melissa, my expression: 
My MC was a really nice person so he told her he loved when he didn’t but when he had to marry Sophia I believe he fell for Melissa then and I was just so angry at the father. The MC has a different father right? When I got the MC to hear the father and mother conversation it sounded like the MC wasn’t the father’s son.
There is an old saying- Mother’s definitely, father’s maybe.
Although doesn’t the game state the MC looks like their parents?
And we apparently inherited the royal magic.

Oh my gosh! All of this information is making sense now. Throughout the game I felt like Javier was being like a father figure and he was around the MC a lot. 
…Because Andus (the king) orders him to take care of us.

Sophia make a ton of false spoilers, and this is probably one of them. I think she mention (3000-5000)King Andus having extremely weak magic and the MC’s magic came more from the MC’s mother
