How far along are you in chapter 2? (As a percentile?) That would at least keep you in the realisitic expectations realm. Unless you have been writing some chapter 3 on us.

No chapter 3 progress yet. As for Chapter 2, scenes are encoded but I’m not satisfied with it yet.
I feel your pain. 
I would feel that the money mechanic could be introduced a lot easier in Chapter 3. It might break a narrative flow if you try to shoehorn in, “Oh hey! Here’s gold and here’s how you can make more!”
Revisions should be made, certainly. I think the thread’s biggest request would be to fill out the dining scene and the training yard scenes. While I could make another amusing “attempt” at getting you to write dance, that is still minor in the grand scheme of things.
Otherwise, in all seriousness, I don’t think there is much more to do in 2. The ending where MC and Sophia goes their seperate ways after dinner is a natural stopping point.

The mc will not use money in Chapters 1 and 2, so I thought I would just make the mc have money in the 3rd chapter.
Everytime I ask something similar to this I get told it’s against the rules and get yelled at sinks back into corner

One more thing before I abandon the thought of chapter 2 content, how much time passed between 1 & 2? Beyond the training yard encounter and dinner, would the “married” couple run into each other again? If the player even wants to try and squeeze in another Sophia conversation.
Oh yeah, make the MC a male friend! Lol. There’s my wish.
