Kingdoms: Embers In Ashes[WIP] [OLD VERSION]

becuase you need to save that thing…we are in a peace and we don’t want this become like the " other thread"

Your right my brother.
Anyone have any theories about what the prince (forgot his name) is going to do since his wife is kinda hung up on the mc?

I think it’s been established in the community is a manipulative, female Andus. She isn’t happy with how her husband has manipulated events against her and she is trying to sabotage our “marriage” for her own petty reasons.

Mine too, however I consider my family to now include Sophia. Someone that my MC originally didn’t want to be with at all (MC originally loved and lost Melissa but got over it with time.) MC is religious and takes vows and duty seriously. He originally started from those points in trying to make a relationship with Sophia tolerable. I think that given continued dialogue, romance would eventually form.

the author said that she(the wife) will have his babies and forget about us.

If you have a good relationship with him he’ll probably try to calmly talk to you about it but if you have a bad relationship with him he’ll probably be pissed at you

If you not romance her, Melissa eventually move on and love her husband, Marxus

Yeah, those who were not gifted in magic.

Fire. She can only use fire magic.

Well, I think water/ice going to be my favorite magic. But I wonder, if Princess Sophia and Reinhardt have son/daughter for example, what is the child magic affinity?

Since the child will have the blood of Darius, all of it.

I see a different perspective from your MC, his convictions seem more resolute. There is a thematic appropriateness in letting go of childhood love past and embracing maturity, even if it doesn’t take you where you want it to (for me that’s Princess Sophia). To become a good King I realize now that the MC needs to experience this pain and overcome it, to work with what he has and make the best of it.

Melissa is a a childhood sweetheart but Sophia is cold harsh reality, I was a fool think the transition would be smooth. Becoming consumed in paranoia was a mistake, the MC is a Prince not a spymaster and I have forgotten his duty. Love died with Melissa, I understand now the true enemy was myself failing to grow up.

I’ll have to work to earn mutual respect between the MC and Sophia, become better for the sake of self-improvement and not to win her affections (for which I do not care for). Who knows if it will work out though.

But thank you, I now see differently.

but he/she will be more strong with some elements that with others right?

Well, that’s real life. It’s also good advice that I would give to anyone trying to improve themselves to try to “woo” someone. Doing it for yourself and being better is its own reward, whether it lands you a “mate” is moot.

You’re welcome, it was a good dialogue.

Question.

Why do you guys like Princess Sophia? Why does she hold the 1st place in the poll?

She’s having a tough past, she’s beautiful, she’s determined, ferocious, respectful (of some like Clithus and my MC), stubborn and pragmatic

Well, that hard question. I found she interesting because her personality, closed past, and she supossed to be enemy. And honestly to me, she really relatable, hard-headed and cautious. She actually more relatable than that but that are what I found the most.

Also, she naive (unlike someoneI know :upside_down_face:)

So the people are attracted to her painful past? Interesting… Considering other ROs have a painful experience too.

Even Melissa also have that?

When she was betrothed to Marxus. That’s her sad past.

That’s present ?? How is that tragic past ?
