If thats the case I’d convince as many lucreax lords to be my moles as possible and they would tell me their armies movements and battle plans and when the time is right they’ll betray their king and sophia is my ro so she might be able to help but if she cant then I’ll deal with it myself
I know that one of the dukes is rebellious, but I dont think hes strong enough to be too much of a threat (unless he comvices other dukes to revolt as well). Lucraex on the other hand, is already a strong country, and even though we married Sophia, I dont think Prince Vince is the kind of person who’d see that as a reason to not declare war on Darvis.

We have got generals for that. Main thing about being king is knowing when to declare a war and when to avoid it. And what would gold do when you won’t have people to fight for you. Face it boy you will have to force people in army in the time of war. And what ventures can make more gold than taxes. Allies, are you going to be dependent on alies to fight your war? Alies are not easily gained they won’t help until you until there is a mutual gain, maybe in return you will have to give them financial support or milatory support.
Why play helper why not do it yourselves. What if he doesn’t agree with our decisions. I mean sometimes you don’t agree with your best friends.

Why would the dukes help you though? If Lucraex conquers Darvis, then they have a chance of getting more land, or even the Kings favor if they do enough for him. Plus of they tell you anything, they run the risk of execution. And its not like they feel anything towards Sophia, because she was treated horribly in Lucraex, and she’s a bastard child, so she has no claim to the throne anyways.

What Darvis going to offer to them? Because Noble have this thing named “Proud” that prevents them to switch sides even if you have fair deal. This makes me wonder, @Sophia can we turn lucraex and/or rebel allies to us?

Put a bounty on the bandits anyone who kills one and brings me there head will be given a reward
Send a detachment of our mightiest knights
Send them supplies but Don’t do anything about the bandits
Send a diplomat with gifts to try and form a peace treaty
Don’t do anything it’s not my problem

You make it sound so easy kid. Let me give you an example, suppose during a war Darvis is loosing but it is possible to win when you do something disgracefu. l Marxus will never do it he will uphold his ideals you can’t convince h even if you are his best buddy. Now you decide to do it behind his back how will you do it unless you have clutches in dark, which you don’t have you are seventeen and still you don’t have clandestine contact it will take years to make those connections so rulling from shadows is not an option right now.
