Book 6 better be the last one, because I cant handle the suspense of waiting another 5 years after the 6th comes out. And book 6 needs to be out now glares at GRRM.
I tend to make sure my role models are intelligent, and live long lives. But to each their own.
The show is loosely following the course of the books so season 7 and 8 should be loosely following book 6s path
