@Sophia - I’m going to imagine that Andus is not going to do a lot of talking, it would fit his character anyways. Your uncle covered the tournament. Unless you want him to say something else martial related, or have him discuss something with the king that is out of earshot, then that is fine. We’re hoping to have other conversation drown those two out.
Now, besides harboring jealousy that Sophia is taking her desired position next to MC, I would see that Melissa might ask about Sophia or her welfare. We need some kind of a cold “snap” from Sophia that would cause Mel’s “fury” to rise. Also, the Queen would probably make small talk to Sophia too but we know that Vicky doesn’t truly care about Sophia or her welfare. (Maybe sneak a barb in about Lucrasia being inferior to Darvis.)
I would also give the MC a choice of dinner conversations to the various characters. Any question at the table to Marxus will be met with a terse answer (more on him in a moment.) You’ll probably get normal conversation from Mel. Vicky’s words will be weighed carefully in Andus’ presence. Andus and uncle are still too busy chatting to be interrupted by the second born scum (lol) and Sophia is probably going to give another cold reply to MC. This may need to happen twice to get Mel sufficiently upset.
Once everyone leaves like you have in place already, Marxus will finally talk plainly, brother-to-brother. Now, I’m assuming you probably already have something. However, depending on the relationship with the MC, he could potentially have two conversations. One of understanding (“So brother, now you understand what it’s like to live with a wife who cares nothing for you…” (Conversation would ensue which can be shaped by how the character feels about Mel.)) or one of jealousy ((Don’t use this wording.) “Well, well. Karma has caught up to you. Now you experience what I feel from my own wife. One who desires your company over mine.”) Either conversation may lead back to the tournament.
I wrote in generalities here, if you want to pound out specific conversations, it’ll probably be easier to do it over messenger.
