Personally, I’d like my mage MC to be using a staff instead of a sword. They’re quite effective melee tools as well as magical focuses. However, I know from experience how much of a pain that having a ton of weapons in a game can lead to a harder time of coding and keeping track of the weapon usage.
I think that, in the end, we’ll find some way of fighting with sword and magic.

If you’ve watched Thor or the Sword in The Stone, it will be something like that.
It had no effect in me, actually. I was an innocent soul who wondered why they had no clothes on. Then I realized when I reached 6th grade that it was a ‘type of physical interaction.’

How many that mc can carry?
I… didn’t fancy it. Not my taste. Too much cliche and predictable things to happen.
The mc can have as many as possible, but he must choose which weapon to use in a specific battle. For example; in the tournament.

2 swords on the left one, 1 on the right, a claymore and a shield on the back a knife strapped to each calf, 2 knives strapped to each pectoral.
So…8 bladed weapons and a shield

1 two handed, 3 short Swords, 4 knives and a shield.
Oh and a pug to carry into battle
Why? Because I said so…

We have the greatest thing in the world a inventory button that only cares about weight.

Ohhh right! I forgot to mention the magic inventory that the mc may find in the story! With this artifact, the mc may carry all the things he wants without dropping anything.

Cause it’ll be fun making her as jealous as possible and as my MC lays dying his dreams of a yandere romance will be fulfilled. Also wanna see how many people shell kill if she will.
