I’m all seriousness my fav would have to be Melissa, she seems to be the only one who harbours too intetions, and from what she has done in the past, shows no sign of any devious machinations
To bad I can’t say the same for any of the other chracters from the story this far
Melissa, and I guess it’s because the idea of ‘first love, childhood sweethearts and sweet, adorably shy girls’ seems better to me than ‘hot-and-cold and enemies-to-lovers.’

The netflix movie has the best dialogue and no plot holes/confusing and ridiculous pacing.

Dear God, NO! There are some parts I liked. Gf not being a doormat and Willem freaking Dafoe. Otherwise the pacing, writing and just overall bastardization of the story line made me want to claw my brain out towards the end.
Also, if you are hoping for the game of wits from the anime/manga, you’re going to be sorry as you are watching the movie.
