No, it is the state of our culture and the erosion of how we perceive male friendships. Even the “brotherly” or a mentorship connection is not what it used to be.
There is a reason why terms like “bromance” and the “No homo” phrase got popular. It just saddens me.

Well, to be fair, people are pretty paranoid about others on the internet now, and with good reason. I think if you think about the age difference, and what was said people may be justified in thinking what they did. If you were around the same age, people wouldn’t think what they did.
If you think people are paranoid now, you should’ve been around when chat rooms and MSN were popular. So. Sketchy.

XD Yeah. And you some people invited you to chat, turned on the video and…well, let’s leave it there. I refused to video chat with anyone because of that. But MSN was pretty fun, other than that. I loved the emoji things xD
