Star Wars EU allowed for sabers of many colors, including gray, among the Jedi. Of course Disney made all of the books non-canon.

Not the same thing. Grey Jedi can be one of two things, one is a rogue, and the other one is a neutral force wielder who keeps the balance.

I am going, to be honest…I didn’t hate it but didn’t like the last movie.

Well, any of the books past the Yuuzhan Vong saga are starting to go waaaay overboard. So the EU was derailing themselves, imo. However, I hate that Disney wiped away the “Heir to the Empire” saga, I’d pay to watch that if it wasn’t for the fact that Ford, Hamill and Fisher were so old compared to the books.

Patrick is anything BUT neutral. Also gray jedi were made by Disney to make Star Wars more “hip” and therefore in my opinion are the lamest kind of jedi
