We don’t have enough data to determine her morality, what we do know though that she seems to be against the wedding, and she brushes off our attempt at being friendly, so…maybe take it just in case? Though, bringing the dagger with you would create some…complication if she’s not trying to assassinate us in our sleep.

I believe he meant you as the author won’t kill off the protagonist on their wedding night. The story can’t move far from that point if you do so.
Short hair is always better, this is confirmation that Melissa is better for me.

Wait wait wait wait wait wait… if this happens the whole plot about jealousy and trying to kill will be ended, if this happens a good grim plot will be destroyed. Why will she try to kill Sophia when she will love Marcus neither will mc kill Marcus since now Melissa is happy with marcus. Another thing is - it will make more easy to choose Sophia over Melissa. The confusion you created will be destroyed by yourselves. Remember most of the players here have said they want to kill marcus because of Melissa, not for throne, their mc will turn into good guy this will end an excuse to takeover both of the kingdoms. If you want to add this option you may add it for those players who have chosen Sophia from the begging and please give them other excuse for ruling the both kingdoms for example king and marcus did something bad with Sophia. Because if they takeover just for fulfilling their ambitions it will make them look like villain of some fantasy book for kids.
Based on how I view Melissa, she is naive and sympathetic. She hated the fact that Marxus was his husband, but it turned into sympathy after learning the hardships he lived with.
In the comic, Marxus went into battle. Melissa waited for her husband impatiently. When the prince arrived from the battlefield, Melissa hugged him. Indicating that Melissa does care for Marxus.
In the story, the gruesome jealousy will only happen if you romanced Melissa then romanced other characters.
