Nnnot really. Sophia herself said that he can kill her easily, that he doesn’t care what Marxus thinks or feels for her. He’ll do it to prevent an uprising, and he’ll feel absolutely 0 remorse. He doesn’t have any kind of conscience, really.

Why doesn’t Andus utilize or instruct the MC more? Like the guy seems no nonsense. So why doesn’t he invest more into the education of his second born. Make us more useful for his heir when all the old men are gone
