I like seeing the discussions and viewpoints that others bring up, and offering my own thoughts on the matter, so I like to try to see what has been brought up while I wasn’t able to get on the forums.
Though honestly, reading through the posts in Kingdoms does at times feel like watching every episode of Naruto: for that one episode that actually moves the story along, there’s 50+ filler episodes that (while at certain times entertaining) has nothing to do with the story to begin with.
(Also, the responses happen so fast that it feels like my question will just get lost under whatever discussion is exploding right now)

Really, tell me, is he truly that skilled, or is he just a behemoth. I don’t know if it actually says it, but for some reason I picture Andus as being huge, towering over people. Of course, I’ve officially marked him as a pathetic bully, so it might just be the stereotype.
Also, love the update, only problem is that magic still doesn’t seem really integrated. Still, I know early days, we’re only seventeen, plenty of time to rain unholy fury down upon our enemies later on. Still, I need my magic so that my sorceress queen and I can enact our totally innocent non-coup plan…

(Sorry for reviving the polyamory idea; I guess I ended up being more fascinated by the idea of it being implemented in some future game at some point)
That’s actually another thing to possibly think if the option of polyamory was available in Kingdoms; in Clithus and Sohpia’s case, culture could also come into play. What is common for one group of people may feel odd and new for another, so who knows if it’s common for both or something that is not often practice in one place,but is a little more of a explored relationship possibility in the other.
There have been others with upbringings just as harsh as his own, and they did not turn out as cruel. In fact, I read a story where this Bandit King who had a really bad childhood himself with a physically abusive father and no one to turn to but himself for a good number of his years before he created his group of bandits. But the amount of harshness he experienced as a child didn’t stop him from being a caring leader to his men and raising a orphan with his own blood-related daughter with equal amount of affection and care, and did his best to give his children as normal of a life as he could offer them as kids (and he certainly didn’t condone cruelty when it was far from needed).
And I have doubts that Andus was able to secure a marriage through diplomacy and honest negotiation; I feel that it was more cunning and making some type of agreement that lets him get rid of something due to pettiness.
People are quite complex though; what makes one character a cruel individual can make another a kind soul. Like someone who may have succumb to the lowest sense of despair after life has given them far too many beatings; some will want to drag others down with them, but some (despite their immense despair) may do all in their power to prevent others from falling into their low and even try to push them back on the right track.
I…honestly miss Intelligence simply being one Stat. It felt simpler and quicker to understand in the long run and a lot less complicated in terms of making a choice compared to suddenly being bombarded with this whole other separate stat with Knowledge. I feel like the simple ‘Skills and Abilities’ with intelligence being one of the skills was something that could be much more easily understood than suddenly having my intelligence split apart the way it is now. Intelligence alone gave the implication that this is a child who pursuits many types of knowledge purely for the love of it, which I personally really liked.
Basically, I’m not too fond with the Knowledge split and miss the original simplicity of intelligence being a stat like with the others (again, this is merely a personal opinion)
I felt bad for Arlan; all he wanted to do was play with the little girl Sera, and his mother ripped that away from him in the same way that Andus ripped Melissa away from his life (the more I see these two and how they interact with the Second Prince and others, the more eerily alike the two seem to be).
I don’t know what to make of Marxus’ reaction to Arlan trying to hold his hand and connect with the older boy. It was like physical affection of any kind was really foreign for him. For a man who had loved his mother, Andus seems to be doing a very poor job as a father to even his favored child; the kid clearly isn’t used to feeling honest affection from another. Makes me wonder how the First Prince would react to Arlan giving him a hug during their first birthday party together.
The scene with the tree arrow shooting could use a bit of a shortening. I love making choices, but even I felt like have to do 5 choices in a row just to get the arrow shot was a little much.
-After reading the conversation between the King and Queen after the marriage announcement, I’ve come to this conclusion: it’s sort’ve both the parents’ fault that Melissa and Arlan weren’t able to truly be together. Mostly Andus, due to the fact he made the choice to do this to the two children and then arranged a political marriage with his enemy more to also lower the Second Prince’s chances of becoming king rather than for peace (feel like he also did the arrangement to rub salt in the wound on the Second Prince). But the Queen’s ambitious nature and clear desire to secure the throne for her son alone gave the King a good excuse to break apart the Second Prince and Melissa (just that the Second prince having genuine feelings for the girl was probably a added bonus of joy for the King).
I started the path of Clithus with @AmericanShakespeare. When all the evil propaganda said she was a man, only two men stood strong beside her, it’s only right I continue to walk this path, but without conflict, or deceit, or evil, only love and admiration.
To ensure that, I must do it alone.

I have a question about heretics…if we romance several RO ( one for playthrough) but we still have the touch for the same RO…then that make you a heretic?
I am not sure I qualified to answer this question; I don’t have a team. But by definition, yes you are .heretics are people who do not care much about traditional opinions.
