With rare exceptions. The Martian didn’t kill him off but they did fire him within the movie’s plot. Otherwise, if a movie can’t kill Sean Bean, something is terribly wrong with it.

He had his own tv show Legends. Was cancelled.
Must’ve been a great show. I did like his narration for Train Simulator and the latest Civ game. (Was up there with Nimoy’s time as narrator)

So, @Sophia, I was replaying the demo and I wondered: what does Melissa’s father think about the King suddenly making her marry Marxus to spite the Queen?

Being her father he’s probably not happy about it. During your wedding he tells you she’s basically depressed and ask if you still love her. If he even knows Andus did it to spite her.
Duke Clarent is an honorable man who has proven his loyalty to the king. He actually has doubts with the Queen telling him that Melissa will marry the mc. Duke Clarent knows that the King hates the Queen, and doesn’t think he will agree to the marriage proposal.
When Duke Clarent heard the bethrothal between Melissa and Marxus, he was surprised but not mad. He felt pity for his daughter who loved the mc, but he needs to obey the king.
