Alright so the School Days ending is even crazier when I found the background. It’s from IGN so 10/10.
Summary
He may look nice, but the things this fool does is ridiculously. Makoto is a first year high school student, and the “protagonist”, he meets and starts going out with this girl named Katsura, but realizes he’s into his other friend Sekai. Instead of breaking up with Katsura, he cheats on her with his friend, and pretends Katsura doesn’t exist. Meanwhile, Katsura is being bullied by other girls. Makoto then has sex with the girls that bullied Katsura (including Sekai’s friend) , which makes Sekai jealous. Sekai pretends to be pregnant to get his attention back. Instead of taking responsibility, he rejects Sekai. Later, he tells her he is with Katsura, and they make out in front of Sekai. He also makes a hint to Sekai to get an abortion. One time in the anime, he lamented “Why does all this bad stuff happen to me?”, showing an ironic lack of self awareness.
This anime would have been alright if it wasnt for that ending… in the end, it shows a long line of photos of all the girls he’s slept with on his phone, and later Sekai shows up at his house after sending him the text “Goodbye”; she comes from behind and starts stabbing the shit outta him, while tears come out his eyes while going through the entire thing. She then cuts off his head and goes to the top of the rooftop of some building, where she invites Katsura, after talking with Katsura for awhile; she points to the bag containing Makoto’s head, and right after being shocked, Sekai brutally murders her aswell.
