In response to my being punished for his failings, I must ask, Is the carpenter at fault if his tool is dull, is the rider at fault if his horse is weak, is the cook at fault if his ingredients are old? No, none of these people are at fault. Then how can the teacher be at fault if his student does not want to learn. All of us can choose whether or not to learn, just as you cant force someone to think a certain way, you cannot force someone to want to learn. I am not at fault for my squires failings.

Is the carpenter at fault for using a dull tool? Yes, for he is responsible for the care and upkeep for his tools as well as lacking the discernment of a sharp tool from a dull tool.
“Is the rider at fault if his horse is weak?” - Yes, for he either chose poorly when he was at the stables or he pushed the horse to the point of exhaustion and is responsible for its poor state.
“Is the cook at fault if the ingredients are too old?” - Chefs are responsible for the upkeep and quality of their ingredients. If the king is served ingredients that are spoiled, it is not the kitchen boy who is punished, it is the chef.
Your defenses are poor, I pray that you never become a lawyer for anyone. Now while the church preaches “free will”, it is still the teacher’s responsibility to guide his student on the right path. Unless you have proof that someone else is the heretic teacher. Then the inquisition shall be lenient upon you.

You say these things as if i have not led micro on the right path, i have done nothing but correct him in his errors. You can lead a horse to water but you cant make it drink, I led micro to the water that was loyalty to the church of sophia, but he refused to drink. I accept whatever punishment the inquisition lays upon me, for I will still be loyal to the church of sophia no matter what the punishment is.
