I’m… not sure why there is any Marxus hate, to be fair. I mean, what little presence he had, he was… okay? I certainly don’t remember him kicking a puppy, or anything. So sure, he “stole” the Mc prospective wife, but it seems he had as little control as the MC on that event - and didn’t seem particularly pleased by the prospect, from what I could tell.
I mean, maybe I’ll grow to hate him later in the story, who knows, but right now? He’s fine.
