Oh well… I don’t like to kill kids but I’d rather have three dead nobles than thousands of peasants starving and soldiers dying for a pointless war.
Your more likely to start one.
Then we have two options:
-do nothing, which will eventually lead to a war.
-kill them, risk a potential war that we will win anyway since the last member of the royal family is on our side.
Even if it starts a war, it gives the opportunity to put Sophia on the throne and unify the two kingdoms into a peaceful empire, even if it means a few decades of instability.
She probably won’t be on your side for killing her relatives especially her grandfather who actually cared for her. Also the people won’t accept the wife of the man who killed the royal family as there new ruler even if she was born there, they’d think she was in on it.
Ah, I see that you’re true to the words.
Update only on special days.

What personality traits should I add? I think someone suggested some traits, but that comment is probably lost in the flood of memes in the thread.
I think updating on special days is more fun (for me atleast) than updating every week.
For who the personality?

Quoting from last update
“Have I gotten used with the scornful looks that they have been giving me? Why, yes. It is quite nice having people talk behind your back.” Sophia rolls her eyes. “But it is a little better than staying at Lucraex.”
She hates them and the feeling is mutual. The Prince bullied her, so there won’t be any issue. As for the king, I think selling her to the enemy is enough to make her hate him.
For the other part, I don’t think you understand medieval politics. Feelings do not matter but honor does. They could hate her and think she is a kinslayer, their honor prevents them from acting on it if they do not have proof.
Example: I am the king of country A. I decide to wage war on country B, and I win. In the peace treaty, it is said that I marry the only heir to the B kingdom. We do, and have a child. By the customs of the times, the child is their rightful king, whether they like it or not.
Besides, even if they betray all their gods and customs, Lucraex seems like a nest of vipers. End the royal family, and they will probably be a civil war for the throne. By the end of it, we can force them to submit since they woill be weakened.
Hmmmm, well I do notice that there no ruthless status
I think the medieval concept of Chivalry is hypocrisy. Sure, they pledged their oath but that does not completely restrict them from doing other things.
(We are simply having a discussion. We’re not arguing.)
True, but even if she does become Queen, to them she’ll just be the bastard that sided with the enemy they’ll never trust her. She’ll be the target of many assassinations and plots to end her reign.
The Middle Age is hypocrisy. Invoking the name of god to justify that a noble has the right to kill a peasant over trivial matters is awful. Yet, those same persons claimed to protect the people and used that to heavily tax them. for “protection”.
If a lady strike a servant, the so called knights wouldn’t do anything, despite the ten commandments of chivalry ordering otherwise.
(Don’t worry, I’m just debating, it’s just that I tend to use a serious sounding English while doing so)
