ThereI is one more thing I haven’t introduced in the story yet. People inherit their haircolor from one of their parents, and it depends in their magic capability.
For example; Castel inherited his father’s haircolor rather than his mother. His father has more mana capacity than his mother.
But the inheritor won’t always inherit the talent for magic. The haircolor of their child simply determines who had more mana capacity.
Von Hyius - King Darius had goldish brown hair and pure blue eyes. His descendants have inherited his hair color and it always had been like that, until the mc was born. King Andus had the traditional haircolor, but had poor mana capacity since he didn’t develop it further. Queen Vicky and Aless had more mana than King Andus, so the King didn’t have sons with the traditional hair.
Blayves - King Lukas had black hair and red eyes, so did his descendants. Sophia has amber eyes she got from her late father.

I’m not sure whether to put the haircolor fantasy. It is the only thing that I didn’t put in the story.
He has the blood of King Darius, so of course he knows magic. He didn’t develop it much further, that’s why Queen Vicky has more mana capacity than him.

We’re not we just inherit or mother hair.
It would be interesting to have that put up in story and for real doesn’t Sophia have anyone who loves her in her extended family either?
If I remember well, the King of Lucraex loves all of his grandchildren, but Prince Vince is Joffrey minus the sadism.

Clithus?
King Elyon IV, her grandfather, cares a little bit for her since he made Clithus her bodyguard. Telling us that he doesn’t want Sophia to be harmedthe in Darvis. However, King Elyon doesn’t want to see her granddaughter because Sophia is the reminder of how his daughter ended up.

By the time you visit Lucraex, Prince Vince’s (or Vinceliot) wife is pregnant.
It’s not the matter of intention. Sophia’s mother was killed, not because of assassination.
